Welcome to our 4-H Club  2008-2009

What a Trip!  Off to Portland for our very special field trip. We arrived (with the help of Donna's business call) and ate at a neat place full of water falls. Next we WALKED and WALKED and did a bit more walking.....but managed to catch a ride over the bridge to the mall. Then we shopped (of course) ~ Ice skated ~ and made our way back by way of the iMax (?) with so many mishaps and laughs along the way that we were primed and ready for the best dinner of giggles ever! So off to Marrakesh to eat with our hands the most delicious food(s) (recipes will be posted to our Cooking section soon).

We spent a wonderful night at Heidi's sister's house (Thank You Angela!) and headed out the next day for our feast/tour of the Oregon Culinary Institute ~ What a meal! Heidi is going to contact them for the recipes of our dishes and I will be posting those as well ~ yum yum. We explored the Rose Gardens, enjoyed the park and a pushy squirrel. Last of all we made our way to the river front and shopped some more at the Rose Festival carnival before heading home.

It was so wonderful to get away to the big city with our daughters and just enjoy ourselves ~ We are all so thankful to the Lord for this time of fun and His grace upon us during our trip.

Kayla you were greatly missed ~ you'll have to be sure and come next time!
