How do I pay for my dental care?
To keep our fees reasonable by avoiding added bookkeeping costs, we do not carry accounts
at Oak Park Family Dental Care. That means, on the day of your appointment, we will ask
you to pay all fees which are not covered by insurance. We accept cash, checks, and credit
cards, as well as bank debit cards.
Which credit cards may I use?
We accept VISA, MasterCard, and Discover Card.
Is there a monthly payment program available?
Yes. We have a 12-month, interest-free financing program that is available through
a cooperating financial institution. The program is subject to credit approval. If you qualify
for this option, we will pay the interest charges for you. This program may be used for major
work as well as continuing care. If you would like to see if you qualify for this program, you
may fill out an application at your first visit or contact our office in advance to pre-qualify.
What if I have insurance?
We will be happy to bill your insurance company. We will ask you to pay your estimated
portion on the day you come in. If your insurance company pays more than the estimated
amount, we will promptly refund any overpayment.
Are any discounts available?
We do offer a prepayment discount of 5% if paid one week in advance and a 5% senior discount
for our patients over age 62.
How can I budget for dental care?
We can help you plan your yearly dental care expenses by assisting you with setting up
a free automatic medical savings plan.
